Our mission is to build world class roofs and solar systems at the best possible value for our clients.
Owner Gabriel K. Evans's values and mission are informed by his strong belief that the roofing and solar industry can and should work hand in hand. Numerous unnecessary and redundant steps can be eliminated by the integration of roofing and solar industry metrics. Evans' experience has reinforced his belief that if a residential or commercial client were interested in going solar, integration of the two industries early on in the design phases would allow Keetso Contractors to construct roofs that would better serve solar installations, thus saving the homeowner or commercial building owner both time and money.
Evans has far too often come across a perfectly situated “solar” roof which has been limited with the solar design due to shading issues from existing clutter on roofs. It’s as easy to employ good solar design with a blank roof as it is for an artist to start with a blank canvas.
About Gabriel K. Evans, Owner of Keetso Contractors:
- 15+ years construction experience
- Involved in Renewable Energy for 5+ years
- Co-led a humanitarian team in the design and installation of an off-grid solar installation, internationally (Kenya)
- Experienced with off-grid and grid-tied PV systems
- Installed over 100 residential PV systems ranging from 2.5kW to 25kW
- Installed a 3.8MW commercial PV system
- Installed a 180kW commercial PV system
